Migg and Mutt’s Craft Creamery to Break Guinness Record for Ice Cream Flavors Displayed

Company to display over 1,000 different homemade flavors In Black Hawk, CO

WHAT: Migg and Mutt’s Craft Creamery, a Colorado-based ice cream company, is announcing its record-breaking ice cream celebration, Migg and Mutt’s Ultimate Ice Cream Social, featuring over 1,000 homemade flavors displayed at one time.

Migg and Mutt’s is inviting everyone to be a part of the record-breaking ice cream social after the official count is made.  In addition to all of the ice cream, there will be pizza and burgers, face painting, beer and beverages, a live DJ, giveaways, and more.   Proceeds from donations for participation in the ice cream tasting will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Migg and Mutt’s Ultimate Ice Cream Social will be held at Crook’s Palace in Black Hawk, Colorado.  The historic saloon and restaurant will showcase all 1,000 flavors, with all flavors being available FREE to the public throughout the day.  The current record for flavors displayed is 521 by the UPA Gelatieri Padova at the 500 tastes of solidarity event, Cavour Square, Padova, Italy on March 28, 2004.

WHEN:          National Ice Cream Day, Sunday July 17, 2011 from 11am – 5pm.

HOW:             The event is FREE for Unlimited Ice Cream Tasting and is open to the

public.  However, a $2 donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association is
